Right now my bank has contacted their bank and am told within 60 days it should be resolved. The company NEVER responded to me and I am surprised as I had made several purchases with them before this one. But no more!
I have been a frequent buyer of this brand. In October I ordered 2 pair.
One came. I waited a week and reached out about the second pair. Crickets. I sent another inquiry- send me the missing pair or just refund the amount.
Crickets. Then another email -you have 10 days to respond to me or I lodge a complaint with my credit card company. Crickets.
So my credit card company is now investigating.
What has happened to them ???
The products are really quality- why are they risking their reputation on a single pair of shoes?? Needless to say I am done as a customer.

A recent email noted that shipment was to be made no later than July 28, 2025.That date has come and gone, with no updates at all.One star, would not recommend.
SO GET THIS! on July 18, 2025, an Instagram message yielded this tidbit:"Yes, we currently have IBI Low Rose Kinit Sneakers available in several sizes..."and Yes, they at the time did have the IBI Low Rose Knit Sneakers in a Women's Size 8 marked as "Ready to Ship"So i mentioned that we had those in February of 2025 & they must be on the way then.THE RESPONSE:"We understand your concern about unfulfilled IBI Low Rise sneaker orders.
While some sizes may appear available now, these sneakers are part of a limited archive sale and are tagged as backorder items.
This means inventory is managed separately for new sales and pre-existing orders, and fulfillment depends on the specific batch and promise date tied to your order. If your order hasn't shipped, it may be due to these inventory and batch processing constraints."so, how can you have outstanding orders for an in-stock item but not send the in-stock item to the customers with outstanding orders?UNLESS YOU ARE A SCAM COMPANY WHO IS GOING BANKRUPT AND JUST TRYING TO CASH GRAB ON THE WAY DOWN.
We ordered shoes in February of 2025, as of July 2025, they've taken the money, but order is still in "Not Fulfilled" status.
Customer service is hit-and-miss (mostly miss): "Were so close to shipping your order, but your shoes are currently delayed due to unforeseen transportation circumstances." That must have been one heck of a flat tire to last six months with no end in sight.
I did have an interesting Instagram chat session on July 8, 2025 with their Marketing AI where is confirmed that there was one (1) style of Women's Size 8 Pair of Sneakers in stock and ready to ship. Not a good sign for a web-only retailer.
It reported that the earliest pre-order shipping date was October of 2025.

It seems like the original owners sold to this holding company and are long gone. The holding company makes company too expensive to run, declares bankruptcy, takes the loss and bye-bye Cariuma.
They're still "taking orders" (ie taking money from your credit card), but their products are "VaporWear" it exists for the marketing photo shoots (or in the mind of an AI image generator), however, an actual sellable product will never see the light of day (or the customer's feet).
It stinks, because we really like the shoes and the "vegan, sustainable, "think of the trees" approach, but that as a reality seems cast to the wind like so many cotton wood seeds.
This is now a fundraising scam of a bankrupt holding company.
RIP Cariuma.

The shoes were intended to be for work only. They look new except for the flip-flop sole. The rubber separated from the toe to the heel. Ridiculous how could the shoes fall apart so fast.
I had a difficult time getting a hold of customer service.
They reached out today. I hope they can send a replacement.

Multiple attempts have been made to return these shoes. They arrived after my trip and I don't need them.
The order number didn't work for the return, and I got a response from a CSR but nothing since. I email weekly, have posted negative reviews but no response.
It's stunning that an online retailer has, what they stated, a problem with their return system. Very sketchy and not resolved since June.
